How to Get the Fisch Maelstrom Rod<\/span><\/h3>\n

In short, to get the Maelstrom rod, you need to catch a Cryoshock Serpent<\/strong> before completing a parkour obby<\/strong> to reach the rod itself.\u00a0However, the method of catching this fish is a little complicated.<\/p>\n

Upon reaching the Maelstrom rod, you must spend 3,250,000<\/strong> in-game coins to purchase it.<\/p>\n

How to Catch a Cryoshock Serpent<\/span><\/h4>\n

Firstly, you need to obtain Essence of Starfrost<\/strong> and Essence of Winter<\/strong> from Northstar Village<\/strong>. The second step is collecting the Everfrost Key<\/strong> from Santa\u2019s Fischmas questline.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Essence of Starfrost and Essence of Winter<\/span><\/h6>\n

For Essence of Starfrost<\/strong>, you must wait for the Frost Moon event<\/strong>. This weather event can occur naturally or can be activated manually with a Frost Moon Totem<\/strong>, located in an igloo<\/strong> at Glacial Ridge<\/strong>, costing 5K Bells (Fischmas currency)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

During this event, Essence of Starfrost has a 1 in 150 chance<\/strong> of dropping as you fish. You can get Essence of Winter<\/strong> naturally by fishing<\/strong> at Northstar Village<\/strong>, with a 1 in 1,000 chance<\/strong> of it dropping.<\/p>\n

Everfrost Key<\/span><\/h6>\n

The Everfrost Key<\/strong> is a reward<\/strong> you obtain when completing the final quest<\/strong> in Santa\u2019s questline<\/strong>. This quest requires you to catch a Northstar Whale<\/strong>, which you can get by fishing at Northstar Village<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The next step is to find 3 levers<\/strong> across Northstar Village<\/strong>. You must wait until the Frost Moon event<\/strong> activates before doing so!<\/p>\n
