## What Each Gakuran Nameplate Color Means<\/p>\n
Your nameplate hangs proudly on your chest, fixed to your school uniform. It displays your surname in Kanji or Katakana and a colored box showing your year and grade.<\/p>\n
Currently, there are three grades to progress through:<\/p>\n
– **First Year: Blue**
\n– **Second Year: Purple**
\n– **Third Year: Yellow**<\/p>\n
## How To Get A New Grade<\/p>\n
When you create a character for the first time, you\u2019ll automatically receive an assigned Grade. This does not affect your overall gameplay or statistics and is purely a cosmetic feature.<\/p>\n
If you begin as a First Year student, you won\u2019t automatically progress through to Second and Third Year, no matter how long you stay in one session. You also cannot reroll your Grade\/Age to get a different nameplate color.<\/p>\n
