My **Gakuran Stats guide** explores this, telling you which features you can reroll, the possible outcomes, and how to get more rerolls.

Let’s get right into it.

## Gakuran Stats Guide

*Below are headings for all rerollable stats. These ensure the character you play as is one you want to embody. As this covers fundamentals, I won’t include rerollable [accessories](https://www.gamezebo.com/walkthroughs/gakuran-accessories/) or wearables.*

### Height

Your height offers some insight into your fighting style and is largely influenced by your ethnicity and gender. If you select male, you’ll be taller on average, whereas women are shorter.

Tallest to shortest scale (on average):

– European: 178 cm (M) and 165 cm (F)
– African: 175 cm (M) and 162 cm (F)
– Middle Eastern: 173 cm (M) and 160 cm (F)
– Japanese: 171 cm (M) and 159 cm (F)
– Latino: 170 cm (M) and 158 cm (F)
– Indian: 167 cm (M) and 155 cm (F)

The guide above isn’t strict, as the heights do have some cluster values. For example, a Japanese male character would centre on 171 cm, as it is the most common height for men. Similarly, women’s height averages around 165 cm, with that being the average.

#### Height in Combat

Character height determines hitbox size, attacking speed, and overall damage.

Taller players deal more damage, have higher health, but also have a larger hitbox and a slower attack speed.

Shorter players deal less damage, have less health overall, but have a smaller hitbox and attack more quickly.

### Ethnicity

Given the theming of Gakuran, most players roll for Japanese, as this takes up 95% of the local population. The remaining 5% is a combined amount for all other ethnicities, including European, African, Middle Eastern, Japanese, Latino, and Indian.

### Hair ID

Once the player chooses their gender and the game rolls for ethnicity, a hairstyle is rolled at random from a list of hairstyles available to that demographic. All hairstyles have an equal chance to roll, but won’t roll outside of their ethnic group.

### Hair Color

Hair color pulls from the character’s ethnicity and typically represents a naturally occurring shade for that group. For example, a Japanese player would commonly roll for darker shades, such as black, whereas a European pulls from a wider range, including black, brown, blonde, auburn, etc.

For all ethic groups, when rerolling hair color, there is a 5% chance to roll for dyed hair. When this happens, the game generates a random RGB color not existing within the ethnicity’s natural hair color table to ensure it registers as dyed. Possible outcomes include:

– Red
– Purple
– Green
– Blue
– Blond (not applicable to all ethnic groups)
– White: 0.0001% chance

### Face ID

Face IDs are universal and solely tied to the player’s gender selection. All ethnic groups have access to the same pool of faces for reroll. For both genders, there is a 1% chance to roll the modder face instead, though, more likely, they will receive a 99% chance standard face from their pool.

Players can then keep their generated face or customise it to better match the character they want to embody.

### Surnames

Upon joining, the player’s forename is chosen by themselves. However, they will receive a randomly generated surname based on their Ethnicity. Surnames don’t impact the game overall and aren’t usually worth rerolling unless you want to match a friend and pretend to be siblings in-game.

– European selection: 838
– Latino selection: 795
– Middle Eastern selection: 769
– Indian selection: 755
– African selection: 712
– Japanese selection: 559

In total, there are 4,428 unique preset surnames to roll.

—

## Getting Rerolls

[Rerolls](https://www.gamezebo.com/walkthroughs/how-to-get-rerolls-in-gakuran/) are universal, meaning all rerolls you have are a cumulative sum that can be used to reroll any controllable features of your character. For example, if you had 10 Rerolls, you could use 5 to reroll your Hair ID, and the remainder to reroll Hair Color.

The only two known ways to get them currently include Codes and Robux microtransactions.
