**Upcoming Updates**<\/p>\n
According to the official events page, the next update for Anomaly Cafe is scheduled for:<\/p>\n
**Saturday September 19th**<\/p>\n
That one is called \u201cThe Afterlife Update\u201d and comes with just the slightly unsettling tagline *\u201cwhat comes after death..?\u201d* We don\u2019t know, and at this point we\u2019re afraid to ask.<\/p>\n

**Latest Update**<\/p>\n
The latest released update, the official 1.0 release, arrived on the 5th of September, and brought with it the following changes to the game.<\/p>\n

**New Characters**<\/p>\n
The update introduced 3 new characters to the game.<\/p>\n
– **Aza**
\n – A black cat with passives that lets them move, clean, and cook faster from the start. Also has an active ability to boost cleaning speed.
\n– **Chipper**
\n – A Robux-only candy-themed cat. Chipper comes with a Party Popper and makes better Party Popper tips. Their active ability gives a buff to nearby teammates by motivating them.
\n– **Mellow**
\n – A whipped cream-themed sheep staff member. Cleans a little faster and earns more tips. Gets bonus earnings from dishes with whipped cream in. Has a passive aura ability that increases your team\u2019s earnings too.<\/p>\n
**New Dish**<\/p>\n
– The Croissant<\/p>\n
**New Minigames**<\/p>\n
– Dishwashing \u2013 Make sure to clean up the dirty dishes after customers are done. (This might be currently on hold for rebalancing.)
\n– Croissant Making \u2013 To match the new dish.<\/p>\n
**Litter**<\/p>\n
Inconsiderate customers might leave litter around after leaving. Make sure it\u2019s cleaned up to keep your review score high.<\/p>\n
**Player Journal**<\/p>\n
Keep track of anomalies and see a record of your progress with the new journal feature.<\/p>\n
**Character Skins**<\/p>\n
Now characters will have some cosmetic variants. Currently the new skins available are:<\/p>\n
– Whimsy (King)
\n– Maid (Mr Wolfgang)
\n– Fortune Cat (Lemon)
\n– Butler (Mellow)<\/p>\n
**New NPCS**<\/p>\n
The town got a few new residents.<\/p>\n
– **Banti** \u2013 An NPC that comes with some interesting, and ominous information for you.
\n– **Ian and Matteo** \u2013 Suppliers. Keep an eye out for them when new features come in.
\n– **Tobi** \u2013 The Health Inspector. He\u2019ll come and check that the cafe is up to standard. A bad rating from him can be a disaster.<\/p>\n
**New Anomalies**<\/p>\n
\u2026and some slightly weirder new residents.<\/p>\n
– **Mishy** \u2013 A black cat that will interfere with your equipment until she\u2019s dealt with.
\n– **Glorp** \u2013 A monster that will steal your sugar bag. Make sure to grab it back!<\/p>\n

The September 5th update was the first substantial content update. We\u2019ll be adding more to this section with the arrival of the Afterlife Update.<\/p>\n
