The Unbroken Flameruff Spirit item is an **evolution material** used to evolve **Flameruff** into **Inferlupa**. You also need to unlock the option to evolve Flameruff, which requires the completion of the **Journey: Warrior The Legend of Thousand-Fang Ridge** questline. Scroll down for a walkthrough of this side quest, which takes **3 real-time days** to complete.<\/p>\n
### How to Get the Unbroken Flameruff Spirit<\/p>\n
There are two ways to get Unbroken Flameruff Spirits. The first, and most recommended, is to defeat Elite Flameruffs. If you\u2019re unsure about which Flameruffs are classed as Elite, look for those that are named Flameruff The Mighty, located around Beast Fang Ridge during the daytime. They do not spawn during the night, so if you can\u2019t find them, don\u2019t worry.<\/p>\n
The other method of obtaining Unbroken Flameruff Spirits is by \u2018Releasing\u2019 Inferlupa. This is an action that you can do with any Aniimo in your inventory; however, when it comes to a rare one like Inferlupa, I do not recommend this method. After all, you\u2019re trying to get Unbroken Flameruff Spirits to evolve Flameruff into Inferlupa, so there\u2019s no point \u2018Releasing\u2019 one you already have.<\/p>\n
### Completing the Journey: Warrior Questline<\/p>\n
While exploring Beast Fang Ridge, you\u2019ll find a Clue about Inferlupa\u2019s Flying Head next to a Flameruff and a group of Emberpups. You\u2019ll need to Twine as an Emberpup or Flameruff to speak with these Aniimo.<\/p>\n
#### Day 1 Tasks<\/p>\n
After this, the objective is to find the Inferlupa by following the marker. Once you locate the Inferlupa, you must fight it before Twining with a Scorchhowl to speak with the Scared Emberpup. You then need to find the Fragrant Emberpup. After speaking with this Emberpup, you then receive a call from Dr. Lewis, unlocking the Fist I quest.<\/p>\n
Next, head back to the group of Emberpups you first spoke with. From here, you\u2019ll have to wait until the next real day to continue with the questline.<\/p>\n
#### Day 2 Task<\/p>\n
To start the Day 2 part of the questline, pay the group of Emberpups a visit to listen to a story about the Undefeated Warrior. This is the only thing you need to do for Day 2, so it\u2019s time to wait until the next day again.<\/p>\n
#### Day 3 Tasks<\/p>\n
Speak with the Emberpups to unlock a marker that leads you to the Spirit Dust: Old Inferlupa. Next, visit the Inferlupa you fought on Day 1 and battle against it again. This time, the Inferlupa will be much stronger at level 43. After you defeat the Inferlupa, you enter a cutscene, and then you can speak with it to complete the quest.<\/p>\n
Completing this quest rewards you with the option to evolve Flameruff, as well as 3x Blaze Stones, 30x Sparkling Crystals, 30x Glimmer, 1K Safaris, and 30K Credits.<\/p>\n
### Unbroken Flameruff Spirit Skill<\/p>\n
Separate from the evolution item, the Unbroken Flameruff Spirit Skill is exclusive to Inferlupa. When activated, a Flameruff Spirit is fired out, ricocheting 5 times between all targets on the field. If the Full Energy state is active, the spirit ricochets 7 times instead of 5.
