First Teaser For New Death Stranding Anime Cryptically Reveals ‘My Mom Became A Crater’

I’ve been doing this whole games journalism for over five years now, and I’ve seen a lot of different kinds of games in that time. I’ve written about plenty of them too, with a fair few being plenty weird. But I’ll admit that today’s game is one that I do understand if I were to tell anyone I’m interested in playing who maybe isn’t familiar with games as a whole, they’d probably talk to someone else at the party. You see, Urine Trouble: PEE V PEE is a competitive online game all about pissing literally everywhere, and trying not to get caught doing so.

**Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice to Transform into an Anime Series on Crunchyroll**

In a thrilling turn of events for devotees of the highly praised action-adventure game *Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice*, the game is now being transformed into an anime series called *Sekiro: No Defeat*. This fresh adaptation recently premiered in Japanese cinemas, captivating the attention of gamers and anime fans alike. While the movie adaptation has already undergone a limited theatrical release, the complete anime series won’t be accessible to international viewers until January 2027 on Crunchyroll.

A significant feature of the forthcoming series is that it won’t be a straightforward imitation of the 2-hour film that was shown in Japan. Rather, *Sekiro: No Defeat* will be restructured and augmented into an eight-episode format, with each episode lasting about 24 minutes. This modification will enable around an hour of extra storytelling, intended to furnish deeper insight and character development, ultimately forging a more unified narrative experience compared to the original film.

Producer Tetsushi Suzuki openly addressed the concerns regarding the varying versions of the *Sekiro* adaptation, expressing regret to fans for any confusion that arose and for the delays in updates concerning the anime series. His recognition of these issues underscores a commitment to delivering a superior adaptation.

Critics of the original film version pointed out multiple deficiencies, including a hurried and fragmented narrative that left both newcomers and longtime fans grappling with vital plot elements. Many believed that the film failed to sufficiently justify its existence, especially for those who might be unfamiliar with the game’s lore. The broader format of a television series is anticipated to fix these storytelling flaws by providing the essential context and detail that the film was missing.

The new series is poised to include new cuts and scenes, along with upgraded animation techniques, indicating an intention to enhance the overall viewing experience. This revitalized storytelling method and artistic refinement position the anime as the ultimate version, prompting fans to eagerly await its release on Crunchyroll.

In conclusion, *Sekiro: No Defeat* signifies an ambitious adaptation of a cherished video game, presenting a promising chance for a deeper investigation of its intricate narrative and characters. With its launch on Crunchyroll in January 2027, viewers can look forward to a polished and enriched storytelling experience that pays homage to the original game’s legacy while appealing to a broader audience.
