As the launch of “Dying Light: The Beast” nears, Techland has revealed a four-week postponement, shifting the release from August 21 to September 19, 2025. This choice was made to provide extra time for refinement, guaranteeing the game aligns with the developers’ elevated standards. In a blog post, Techland reinforced their dedication to creating “The Beast” as the premier entry in the Dying Light franchise, noting the encouraging responses from early previews as a factor in the delay.

CGMagazine’s preview lauded the game, emphasizing the thrill of revisiting the locale of Castor Woods and furthering the journey of main character Kyle Crane. Although fans must endure a slightly longer wait, Techland reassures them that the delay will prove to be beneficial. Furthermore, “The Beast” will have a playable demo at gamescom 2025, granting attendees an initial look at the game.
