Scheduled for September 25 to 28 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, the event will showcase over 1,200 exhibitors, comprising both Japanese and international game developers. Participants can anticipate a diverse range of activities, including cosplaying, shopping, and trying out highly awaited titles, as well as unwinding in the Creator Lounge and engaging in esports competitions.

Established in 1996 by the Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA) and Nikkei Business Publications, the Tokyo Game Show is a yearly event that unites gamers to display forthcoming Japanese games from prominent and indie studios. This year’s theme, “Unlimited, Neverending Playground,” highlights TGS as a center for creators and players around the world to collaboratively influence the future of gaming. Highlighted programs encompass the Japan Game Awards 2025, Capcom Online Special Program, Xbox Tokyo Game Show Broadcast, and the “NIOH 3” Official Program. The event will open to the public on September 27 and 28, with various admission tickets available for purchase online.
