Earlier this year, the most difficult of the four endings in Escape From Tarkov was emphasized as especially tough, with one player remarking on the significant effort needed to escape. As of November 15, Escape From Tarkov has attained version 1.0 and is officially available, encompassing the primary storyline and its four endings. In September, Tarkov game director Nikita Buyanov talked about the new content that comes with the 1.0 release, which includes the four distinct endings of the main questline. During a Q&A at the Tokyo Game Show 2025, Buyanov remarked, “For those aiming for the best outcome or wishing to escape with the top ending, it will be quite challenging and not everyone will manage to escape from Tarkov,” mentioning that only around 2% of players are anticipated to succeed, rendering it a notable accomplishment.

Recently, a well-known Tarkov player, Tigz, disclosed the cost of obtaining one of the endings, sharing their insights on X. One ending necessitates players to amass 500 million roubles, the in-game currency of Tarkov. Fans on Reddit have conveyed that the grind to achieve this figure is daunting, with some claiming it would demand “unlimited time” while others described the requirement as “utterly absurd.” The Twitter post featured fans humorously referencing the necessity for “thousands” of runs, while others voiced their disappointment.

Escape From Tarkov’s version 1.0 was released on November 15, and more information is accessible on the official website.
