We’re coming to the end of the month, and it feels like April has raced by. It does feel like the steady grey cold is starting to lift, so perhaps it’s a good time to get on with some DIY and projects… alongside a little bit of gaming.

I got my previewing hat on this week and brought the details of F1 24’s overhauled physics and suspension, and then the expanded career mode, where you’ll be able to race as one of the real drivers. I also got to play Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door for the first time with our preview of the Switch remake.

Rounding things out as always, What We Played featured Stellar Blade, Another Crab’s Treasure and TopSpin 2K25.

Here’s what you in our community have been up to this week:

• TSBonyman’s is getting hammered by Maliketh in Elden Ring, and similarly by Malenia, but has made progress with other bosses. He’s also close to 2000 hours in Dreams, which is a huge amount of time to consider!
• And Andrewww has the kids at home during their school holidays, so has been playing Rayman Legends again – an absolute classic! He’s also been carrying on with Ghost of Tsushima and started watching Shogun, which he’s enjoying so far.
