When Bungie announced that they would be ceasing to work on major updates for Destiny 2 earlier this year, it obviously felt like that was the end of that, and any future games were not guaranteed whatsoever. Then last month, they announced that they’ll be bringing back all of the shooter’s vaulted campaigns, which is obviously a lot of work! Now, in a blog post, the developer has outlined where they’re at with this process, offering up a timeline of when to expect the unvaulted campaigns, what will be included with them, and light teases for whatever comes after that.
It sounds like you shouldn’t expect Destiny 2’s campaign unvaulting to be ready until 2028, as Bungie tease their plans for the future of the series
