Our The Forge Best Race guide goes over which race we think you should reroll for. It’s one of the rarest races in The Forge, but are there any other good options? Read our The Forge Race Tier List to find out!

The Forge Best Race

Without a shadow of a doubt, the best race in The Forge is the Demon. With no debuffs, there’s no reason not to go with this race for your character. It’s one of the rarest in the game for a reason.

Why are Demons the Best Race in The Forge?

The sheer amount of buffs that Demons get in The Forge is more than enough to convince me that it’s the best race in the game. Some races, like the Minotaur and the Golem, have debuffs, whereas Demons have none.

There are also three additional abilities that you can wield as a Demon, all of which focus on dealing Burn DMG, which is highly effective in combat.

Demon Stats and Abilities

  • Fire DMG +20%
  • Movement Speed +20%
  • Attack Speed +20%
  • Height +30%
  • Physical DMG +20%
  • Width +10%
  • Depth +10%

  • Backfire
    • 25% chance to deal Burn DMG when you take DMG
  • Devil’s Finger
    • As you dash, you leave behind particles of hellfire, granting a 20% chance of summoning a hellfire circle which deals DMG equivalent to 45% of your weapon’s DMG, every second for 3 seconds
  • Cursed Aura
    • Summon an AoE around your character, which deals DMG equivalent to 10% of your weapon’s DMG every second

How to Get the Demon Race

Now, like all races in The Forge, the only way to get a new race is by rerolling. You can get Race Rerolls by redeeming codes or purchasing with Robux. With Demons being a Mythical rarity race, you have a 0.5% chance of it dropping.

Demon Versus Angel

The Demon race isn’t the only Mythical rarity race with a 0.5% drop chance. The same goes for Angels! But why are Demons our top pick instead of Angels?

Firstly, both of these races are great options, but it’s the ability to deal additional Fire DMG that pushes Demons to the top.  Every exclusive ability for Demons results in dealing DMG to enemies, whereas the Angel’s exclusive abilities mainly focus on support-style buffs. For example, the Holy Hand ability grants you infinite stamina when your HP is below 20%, and thanks to Mighty Clover, your Luck increases by 30%.
