The Forge Rune Tier List

Which Runes should you equip to your weapons? Runes drop from enemies, so there’s no way to determine which Runes you’ll get or how many enemies you’ll have to defeat to get the one you want. Once you know which Runes you want, you can focus on the enemies that drop them!

S Tier

  • Frost Speck
    • Freezes enemies in place, preventing them from moving or attacking
  • Flame Spark
    • A DoT (Damage Over Time) attack, which inflicts the enemy with Burn DMG for a few seconds
  • Venom Crumb
    • A DoT (Damage Over Time) attack, which inflicts the enemy with Poison DMG for a few seconds
  • Rage Mark
    • Enter Berserk Mode when your HP is below 35%. This increases your Attack Speed and Physical DMG while active

A Tier

  • Chill Dust
    • Slows the attack speed and movement speed of the enemy
  • Drain Edge
    • Replenishes your HP – the amount of HP scales off of a percentage of your weapon’s DMG
    • Increases your Physical DMG
  • Blast Chip
    • When you hit an enemy, you cause an explosion which deals AoE DMG – the amount of DMG you deal scales off of a percentage of your weapon’s DMG
  • Rot Stitch
    • Summon a Poison AoE which deals Poison DMG for 8 seconds – you can only activate this ability when your HP is below 35%

B Tier

  • Ward Patch
    • There’s a chance to reduce any incoming Physical DMG
  • Briar Notch
    • Reflects a percentage of the Physical DMG you take to the enemy – the amount of DMG you reflect scales off of your max HP

C Tier

  • Miner Shard
    • When a pickaxe has this Rune, each time you mine, there is a chance of an additional ore dropping
