### Maelstrom Rod

#### How to Get

To summarise, you need to unlock the **Cryoshock Cellar** to catch the **Cryoshock Serpent**, and complete a short **obby** before purchasing it for **3,250,000** **in-game coins**.

#### Stats

– **Luck:** 85%
– **Speed:** 80%
– **Resilience:** 35%
– **Control:** 0.15
– **Maximum Weight:** Infinite

#### Passive

– Grants a **30% chance** of catching fish with the **Frostbitten** mutation, which increases the selling value by **9x**
– **Progress Speed** decreases by **10%**
– Activates a **Charge Meter**, which can be filled with **Charge** by holding down the input key. Once it reaches **80%+ Charge**, your **Progress** increases by **15%** and you have a** 25% chance** to **freeze** the fish, preventing it from moving for **2 to 4 seconds**

### Santa’s Miracle Rod

#### How to Get

Complete **Santa’s Present Delivery** quest! This is the 5th task in Santa’s questline, and it requires you to **deliver 10 presents** to various snowmen around the **Glacial Ridge** (Fischmas event location) across the Freezing Waters. You also need to **trade** presents with **10 other players**.

#### Stats

– **Luck:** 125%
– **Speed:** 125%
– **Resilience:** 25%
– **Control:** 0.25
– **Maximum Weight:** Infinite

#### Passive

– Grants a **20% chance** of catching fish with the **Santa** mutation, which increases the selling value by **8.5x**
– Grants a **10% chance** of adding either of the following mutations:
– **Frostbitten** (Increases value by 9x)
– **Gingerbread** (Increases value by 5x)
– **Permafrost** (Increases value by 10x)
– **Peppermint** (Increases value by 5x)
– **Presents** start to fall on the fishing bar, and if you **catch** them, your **Progress** increases by **10%**
– There’s a **10% chance** to **gift** a fish you caught to **every player** currently on the server

### Gingerbread Rod

#### How to Get

Costs **5K in-game coins** in the **Northstar Village**. The Gingerbread Rod is located by the** Gingerbread House** to the **left** of the island.

#### Stats

– **Luck:** 65%
– **Speed:** 50%
– **Resilience:** 10%
– **Control:** 0.1
– **Maximum Weight:** 2,000 kg

#### Passive

– Grants a **25% chance** of catching fish with the **Gingerbread** mutation, increasing the selling value of the fish by **5x**

### Peppermint Rod

#### How to Get

Costs **4K Bells** (Fischmas event currency) in the** Northstar Village** by the Merchant NPC.

#### Stats

– **Speed:** 350%
– **Resilience:** 12%

– **Maximum Weight:** 10,000 kg

#### Passive

– Grants a **25% chance** of catching fish with the **Peppermint** mutation, increasing the selling value of the fish by **5x**
