The Hogyoku Quest in Sailor Piece is simple in theory, but it does require you to go hunting down these fragments in various locations. I’ve managed to find them all while playing Sailor Piece, so I thought I’d help my fellow players out.
The level requirement for this quest relies on you being pretty far into the game, so I recommend using my Sailor Piece Clans Tier List to see if you can get some decent buffs to help make the grind easier.
Sailor Piece Hogyoku Quest
If you haven’t picked up the quest yet, you need to visit Hueco Mundo and make your way to the back of the island. Here is where you can find the corresponding NPC. He has white hair and a swirling blue circle at his feet.
You cannot unlock the Hogyoku Quest if you are below level 8,500, so make sure you meet that requirement first.
After picking up the quest, your next task is to find a total of 6 Hogyoku Fragments. These fragments are scattered across the map, but luckily, the locations are the same for all players.
Hogyoku Fragment Locations
Here’s where to find all six Hogyoku Fragments for the quest.
Fragment 1
Head to Snow Island and make your way straight to the back. Here, you need to look at the branches of all the trees to find a glowing purple orb. This is one of the Hogyoku Fragments, so make sure to pick it up.
Fragment 2
If you’re familiar with the spawn location for the boss, Yuji, you’ll know which building you need to climb on Shibuya Station island.
The spot you’re looking for is directly in front of the bright green screen at the top of the building. In the space between the screen and the edge of the roof, you can find the next Hogyoku Fragment.
Fragment 3
A Hogyoku Fragment is hiding at Hueco Mundo, which you may have missed after picking up the quest.
If you head to the location where the Aizen boss spawns and then walk to the right towards the branch/root growing out of the building, you can find the Hogyoku Fragment on the ground.
Fragment 4
Teleport to Shinjuku Island and head to the Set Spawn spot. Look for the dilapidated building and jump up the rock sticking out of it. Whilst you climb this rock, make sure to look inside the building in search of a glowing purple orb.
Fragment 5
The second-to-last Hogyoku Fragment is located on Slime Island. Walk past where the Slime Warriors spawn, and look at the tree branches to find the purple orb.
Fragment 6
Now, to get the last Hogyoku Fragment, you must visit Judgement Island. First, stand where the Set Spawn spot is, then jump up the tall rocks to the right.
At this point, you should be facing the water. From the top of this rock, you need to drop down a couple of times to find the fragment.
Hogyoku Quest Reward
The main goal of completing the Hogyoku quest is to unlock access to the island, Soul Society, inspired by the same location in the Bleach franchise. Aside from lots of new content being available on this island, this is also where you can obtain the Aizen V2 weapon.
