Where Are the Demonite Cores Located?
Sailor Piece isn’t a stranger to locking boss fights behind specific items. Another example is the Chrysalis Sigils, used to summon the True Aizen boss.
Sailor Piece Demonite Cores
If you need Calamity Seals, but can’t seem to get them, there’s a reason for that. The completion of the Demonite Core quest is a major requirement.
Demonite Quest Walkthrough
After picking up the quest from the Demonite Core Quest NPC on Academy Island, you’re tasked with finding 2 Demonite Fragments hidden somewhere on the island.
This feels like a bit of a needle-in-a-haystack situation, but don’t worry, once you know where to look, you’ll find them easily.
Demonite Core Locations
Can’t find the Demonite Fragments? It took me a few minutes to find the comedically small items, but I managed in the end.
Fragment 1
– Standing next to the Set Spawn and Teleport area, there should be a tree ahead. Jump up this tree to one of the first branches to find the first Demonite Core
Fragment 2
– Make your way over to the school building on Academy Island and jump up onto the roof. Head towards the towers on the right side of the building to find the second Demonite Core
Calamity Seals
After you obtain both Demonite Fragments, you can head back to the Demonite Core Quest NPC to hand them in. In return, Calamity Seals are unlocked, now making them a potential drop. To note, they aren’t available before the completion of this quest.
But what are they for?
Anos Boss
To summon the Anos boss, you need Calamity Seals. The amount you need depends on the difficulty of the boss fight. The harder the difficulty, the more Calamity Seals are required.
– Normal Difficulty
– 1 Calamity Seal
– Medium Difficulty
– 2 Calamity Seals
– Hard Difficulty
– 3 Calamity Seals
– Extreme Difficulty
– 4 Calamity Seals
You can only summon Anos whilst on Academy Island. What you need to do is head to the Boss Summoner NPC who stands by the gate to the school building.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are All Items Used to Summon Bosses?
Nope, some items are used to unlock specs (melee, etc), weapons, and more. For instance, you need Soul Flames for the Ichigo Blade and Crimson Hearts for the Sukuna melee spec.
Is it Worth Unlocking Calamity Seals?
It entirely depends on which rewards you want. If any of the Anos boss drops are a requirement for your current in-game goals, then yes. The Anos Outfit is useful to have, with its high DMG and DEF buffs.
