### How to Get Cosmetics
To obtain Cosmetics, you need to open Cosmetic Crates. Each item falls under a rarity, determining how likely it is to drop from the crate.
If RNG isn’t on your side, then you’ll have to open a few Cosmetic Crates to get the one you want. I recommend gunning for the Legendary rarity cosmetic, which is the Commander Cape.
#### How to Get Cosmetic Crates
Cosmetic Crates are dropped by all bosses and NPCs. The drop rate of this item is extremely low, despite coming from literally any enemy in the game. At least the silver lining is that you’ve _always_ got a chance to obtain one.
In my opinion, you should be focusing on increasing your Luck stat to increase your chances of a Cosmetic Crate dropping. You can do this by equipping various accessories, Runes, Traits, etc. Basically, look for anything that has a Luck boost.
#### Equipping Cosmetics
When you want to equip an obtained cosmetic, you just need to open your inventory, look to the right side and select the cosmetic you want in the Cosmetic Section (it’s next to the Aura Section).

Equipping the Fortune Rune is a great way to start, as this increases your Luck by 10% at base and 15% at max. You have a chance of getting this Mythical rarity Rune in the Rune Dungeon.

#### Do I Need Cosmetics?
I don’t recommend skipping out on them. With Cosmetic Crates being obtainable via the defeat of any NPC in the game, you’ll eventually have some spare crates to open.
Whatever you get out of the crate, you should equip it. It’s an extra stat boost at the end of the day. Even the common rarity Avenger Belt is worth equipping.
