Star Wars: Galactic Racer Release Date Inadvertently Revealed on Steam

It seems that Star Wars: Galactic Racer is set to launch on 6th October, 2026.

While a quick look at the Steam store still only suggests a painfully vague 2026 release timeframe, it seems that someone mistakenly updated the pre-order bonus details a bit early, disclosing what looks like the release date for October.

Although this is entirely speculative at this juncture, some fans are curious if the asset was uploaded ahead of a formal announcement expected on Star Wars day, 4th May (or May the 4th, naturally).

Regarding what’s included in the deluxe edition? It seems that pre-orders for the standard edition will come with the base game, pre-order player banner, and pre-order livery, while those who opt for the deluxe edition will also receive a digital art book, three exclusive repulsorcraft, deluxe livery, three unique arcade events, and a deluxe player banner.

You can view the liveries and banners below, along with the confirmation of the release date.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer was unveiled at the previous year’s The Game Awards. It’s characterized as a “runs-based, high-stakes reinvention of racing emerging from the lawless Outer Rim of the Star Wars universe.”

“With the Empire fallen and the galaxy in the process of reconstruction, The Galactic League is established: an underground, unsanctioned circuit where syndicates fund chaos and champions are created. No Force. No prophecy. Only skill, strategy, and the determination to ascend.”
