**Petit Planet Starsea Voyages: A Daily Adventure**
The Petit Planet Starsea Voyages can be a little overwhelming at first. There’s a lot to learn and remember as you explore, but participating in these voyages daily can be immensely rewarding. As a fortunate participant in the current Beta of Petit Planet, I have gained insights which I am eager to share through this guide, and more will follow once the game is fully released.
Some quests require specific resources, one being the elusive Cactus Fibers. For assistance, you can consult our guide on finding Cactus Fibers in Petit Planet. This guide is particularly useful for those who have struggled to gather them.
### Starsea Voyages
Starsea Voyages offer an excellent opportunity to collect extra materials and rewards. They are currently the only method to meet new Neighbours for your planet, although Neighbours don’t appear on every voyage. Voyaging allows you to visit Islets filled with unique insects, fish, and aquatic creatures, different from your home planet.
#### Lucadrops
A vital aspect of Starsea Voyages is collecting Lucadrops, essential for unlocking new Starsea areas and upgrading your car. Lucadrops are identifiable as glowing blue droplets and can often be hidden behind objects. While some Islets make Lucadrops easy to find, others have puzzles that must be solved to collect them. These puzzles often contain multiple Lucadrops and provide clues if you interact with carrot signs. Though not necessary for opening new areas, you need to gather a certain number of Lucadrops to proceed, making them a crucial part of your voyages.
#### Car Upgrades
Upgrading your car requires Lucadrops, typically ranging from 5 to 15. Current Beta offers upgrades such as battery improvement and speed boosts. Upgrading the battery is beneficial, enabling you to explore more Islets in one go. These upgrades are accessed through the Car Services option via Esassani or the Starsea Voyage set-up screen. Four designs for your car are available, purchasable with Dough rather than Lucadrops. To maximize battery usage, aim for closely located Islets and revisit already explored areas if you require specific resources.
#### Finding New Neighbours
Currently, Starsea Voyages are the only way to encounter new Neighbours. Once met, you must complete a quest to meet them again on another voyage. You can invite and relocate Neighbours to your planet for a permanent residence.
#### Bringing Your Neighbours Along
While voyages help in finding new Neighbours, you can also bring up to two existing ones, each with unique Abilities. Choosing the right Neighbours for their gathering expertise can enhance your resource collection efforts.
#### Gathering
Beyond Lucadrops and chest rewards, Starsea Voyages are essential for resource accumulation. There are non-native trees to chop, ores to extract, and bugs and fish to catch. These resources can be contributed to the Omni-Gallery, used for cooking, or sold for profit.
With continuous exploration and practice, the complexities of Petit Planet Starsea Voyages will become second nature. Embrace the adventure daily to fully immerse yourself in the captivating universe Petit Planet offers.
