### Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Updates Region Availability
Good news for fans of Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls! As of recent updates, the game is no longer listed as unavailable for purchase in 132 countries on Steam’s backend. The number has been reduced to 117, allowing 15 additional countries access to the game. This change may be linked to the previous requirement of having a PlayStation Network (PSN) account to access certain features of the game.
As noted by Automaton, the updated SteamDB listing reveals that the countries removed from the restriction include: Armenia, Azerbaijan, the Dominican Republic, Egypt, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Pakistan, the Philippines, Serbia, and Uzbekistan. This list showcases a mix of nations primarily from Eastern Europe and Western Asia, along with a few from other regions.
Unfortunately, Vatican City State remains barred from accessing Marvel Tokon, meaning that fans hoping for Captain America vs. Spider-Man brawls in The Pope’s future will have to wait.
The reasons behind this adjustment in regional availability are still speculative. Many believe that the initial restrictions could have been connected to PSN account requirements, particularly since the game’s Steam page only mentions a PSN account needed for online play and accessing pre-order bonuses. Interestingly, users in non-PSN-supported countries have reported being able to view Tokon’s Steam page, despite the purchase restrictions.
As the game’s release date of August 6th approaches, there is hope that even more countries will be removed from the banned list. Fans are eager for the single-player story mode, which has been crafted by a notable writer, promising an exciting narrative for players.
