Guide to the Souls Crossover and Dragon Ball Z Event

Pretty much everything you need to complete the Souls Crossover X DBS Event is in one place. But if you need a tour or want to know if the grind is worth your time, then stick around as I tell you everything you need to know.

Let’s get into it.

Souls Crossover X DBZ Event Guide

Beginning on July 25th and currently ongoing, the DBZ event introduces new NPCs, Armors, Spells, Souls, etc. To visit the Dragon Ball-inspired area, you need to have two Resets under your belt.

Resets

To reset, head into the room between Frisk (Reforge) and Chara (Enchant) in the main lobby. You need to meet a level requirement before resetting, and when you complete it, you’ll restart at Level 1, but will gain +100 Gems. Do this twice to unlock the DBZ Event area.

Son Koku Boss

The main enemy of this event is Son Koku, who drops pretty much everything you need to complete the DBZ Event. He’s a level 250 enemy, with 500,000 HP and a 25% ATK Resistance.

Son Koku’s drop index includes:

  • Koku Outfit (Armor: 20% drop chance)
    • +10,000 HP
    • +5 Walk Speed
    • +5 Jump Power
    • +1,500 Mana Points
    • +3 Class boost to Melee
  • Kamehameha (Spell: 5% drop chance)
    • -2,500 Mana Points
    • 15,000 Tick DMG
    • 8s Cooldown
  • Super Saiyan Soul Shard (Material: 5% drop chance)
    • Used in crafting the Super Saiyan Soul via Bulma Crafting NPC (Kame House)
  • 10x Release Tokens (Material: 100% drop chance)
    • Used in crafting the Super Saiyan Soul via Bulma Crafting NPC (Kame House)
  • Hope of the Universe (Title: 1% drop chance)
    • Titles apply no buffs and are solely cosmetic.

Super Saiyan Soul

Quite obviously, the main thing you need to complete this event is the Super Saiyan Soul, the pinnacle of this crossover. You craft it by speaking to the Bulma NPC inside the Kame House, and it requires the following:

  • Level 200
  • 100 Gems
  • 250,000 Gold
  • 2x Super Saiyan Soul Shards
  • 250 Release Tokens

When worn, the Super Saiyan Soul generates ascending ki energy around the player in a brilliant yellow, pretty similarly to how it appears in Dragon Ball Z. As for statistics and moves, it possesses the following:

  • +10,000 HP
  • +7 Walk Speed
  • +7 Jump Power
  • +10,000 Mana Points
  • Awakening (Ability): After a short cutscene, gain +50% DMG and +100% HP Regen for 35 seconds. (60-second cooldown between uses).

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Super Saiyan Soul good?

It fits comfortably in the higher tiers when comparing it to other souls in the game at the same time as the event. However, it isn’t so much better than the main game souls, such as Determination and Seven Souls. Still, it’s worth getting due to its limited availability.

What about the Fear Bundle?

Whilst this set is inspired by DBS (Zamasu arc supremacy), it’s Robux exclusive, so I left it out of this guide as there isn’t much to say on attainment and stats. I’m a F2P player, so I also don’t know
