Players either love or hate Hololive Dreams Pokajan. It’s a Mahjong-inspired minigame which can also grant you Event Points, contributing towards your Hololive Dreams Event Tier progression.
Another feature of the game which can get a little complicated is the Hololive Dreams Build system. It’s where you can really make your units shine in performances, but there are lot of things to take into consideration, such as Leaders, Outfit Skills, and Holomem Boards.

Pokajan takes inspiration from Mahjong, but it’s a lot more simplified and Hololive-ified.
How to Win Pokajan
Simply put, you need either a complete set of a Hololive Gen or three cards of one Holomem. Of course, depending on the Hololive Gen, you may need upwards of 5 cards to complete the set. A lot of players recommend the Gen ID set as only 3 cards are needed for a complete set.
During a turn, if you meet either of these requirements, all players must give you coins. You get more coins if the colours match, and less if they don’t. This applies to both set types, whether you’ve got three of a kind of one Holomem or a complete set of Hololive Gen members. Using a complete Hololive Gen set to win a round means you’ll get more coins simply for having more cards, as long as there are more than 3 members.
If you don’t meet either of these requirements, you need to select a card to drop for the other players. If the card you drop allows someone else to Pokajan, they can take it, leading to you having to give up some coins. In this case, it’s only you who has to give away coins, as it’s your card that was dropped.
How Pokajan Works
Unfortunately, a lot of it comes down to luck. There is some strategy involved, but if you join a game where a player already has a complete set without having to do anything, then they’ll automatically win the round. This part in particular has confused a few players at first, including myself. It’s just the way some rounds go.
The best way to learn strategies that work for you is by playing the game often. Eventually, you’ll start to notice which cards you can discard without the worry of another player being able to Pokajan with them. As mentioned, aiming for Hololive Gens with fewer members grants you a higher chance of getting a complete member set, but you do get more coins overall if the Gen has more than 3 members. Matching colours grants more coins, but this can be tricky. Luckily, you can get coins when the colours don’t match, too.
