The Grow a Chicken Fighter Reaper Rooster not only looks cool but is also part of the meta. Combined with the Voodoo ability from the Doll Hen, it becomes one of the best fusions.
Fusions can make or break a hen in Grow a Chicken Fighter, allowing you to swap out weak abilities for much stronger ones.
Grow a Chicken Fighter Reaper Rooster
While new hens have been added to the game since the initial Reaper Rooster fusion meta, it’s still one of the strongest chickens. However, it has to be fused with the Doll Hen for the Voodoo ability; otherwise, it drops down the rankings.
The base ability for Reaper Roosters deals 100% base DMG and 40 Reap DMG if HP is below 25%. It also takes 16% of the target’s resources, knocking them back. It’s decent, but it doesn’t compare to the Voodoo ability.
As for what Voodoo does, it deals 50% DMG per pin, stacking up to 5 pins, dealing 250% DMG in total. It also reflects 120% of the DMG taken to the enemy and summons a shield that provides 30% of Maximum HP.
How to Get the Reaper Rooster
The Reaper Rooster hatches from Haunt Eggs, which drop from Creepy Clown hens and Zombie Chick hens. I recommend using the Zombie Chicks to farm Haunt Eggs, as they have a 100% chance of dropping them, whereas Creepy Clowns have a 75% chance.
But first, you need the Creepy Clown to get your first Haunt Egg, which has an 11% chance of hatching from Arena Eggs. Then, each time the Creepy Clown drops an egg, there’s a 75% chance of it being a Haunt Egg.
Once you eventually get a Zombie Chick, unless you’re lucky enough to get the Reaper Rooster before that, you can then swap it with the Creepy Clown hen. The guaranteed Haunt Eggs from the Zombie Chick speed up the farming process. At that point, it’s just patience until the Reaper Rooster finally drops.
As for the hatch chance of the Reaper Rooster, it has a less than 1% drop chance and is of the Cosmic rarity.
Why the Reaper Rooster is So Popular
The Reaper Rooster is popular because it is part of one of the best fusions in the game. While the Reaper Rooster’s base ability is decent, combining it with Doll Hen’s Voodoo ability makes this hen part of the meta.
How to Get Doll Hens
Doll Hens hatch from both Haunt Eggs and Blazing Eggs. If you’ve already got a Creepy Clown or Zombie Chick, this makes getting a Doll Hen much easier. Hey, you’ll probably get one before the Reaper Rooster drops, at least. It’s still a rare hen, though, as it has a 2% chance to drop from Haunt Eggs and is of the Divine rarity. As for the Blazing Egg, there’s a 3% chance of hatching a Doll Hen.
