How to Get All Pets
Celestial Guard
The Celestial Guard pet is exclusive to players who have the Celestial Human race. This race has a 0.1% chance of dropping when using Race Rerolls. With the race-exclusive ability, Fragile, you unlock the Celestial Guard pet.
The unique thing about Celestial Guards is that while they’re classed as a pet, they’re actually an NPC that you can fully customise to your liking in terms of appearance and the skills they can wield. They’ll use any skills and Fruits you give them in combat.
Circus Lion [Lioni]
You can obtain the Circus Lion pet from Clown Town. You have to defeat the Circus Lion, which spawns near the Beast Tamer NPC in the middle of Clown Town. When defeating the Circus Lion, you have a 0.25% chance of getting the pet, Lioni. Thankfully, the Circus Lion spawns every 180 seconds once defeated, so you can easily farm the fight.
At this time, the Circus Lion is the only pet in Grand Blue that you can also use as a mount, albeit it’s quite a slow mount; it’s a mount nonetheless. At least it looks cool.
Soro
In Anchor Town, if you head to the First Marine Base, you’ll find the Soro mini-boss, which is level 20. The Blonde Goblin NPC stands nearby, appearing to be injured. Unlike the Circus Lion, Soro doesn’t spawn too frequently, so you’ll have to wait a bit for him to respawn.
When defeating Soro, you have a 2% chance of getting the Soro pet.
Small Dog
The Small Dog pet is located in Clown Town, not too far away from where the Circus Lion spawns. You’ll see a wooden display case with the Small Dog pet inside, next to some wooden crates and barrels. This is by far the easiest pet to obtain, as it does not require an enemy to be defeated, and instead costs 10K Gold. If you’ve got the spare Gold, you might as well get it, even if just for collection purposes.
Chicken [Manok]
The Chicken pet has a low chance of spawning at the farming area in Anchor Town. If you see a chicken wandering around, defeat it, and you’ll have a chance of getting the pet. Chickens can also spawn in Maple Village, more specifically around the Beast Wreckage.
How to Level Up Your Pets
Like in most games, levelling up requires EXP. For pets, they need to engage in combat as much as possible to quickly level up. As their level increases, they also unlock additional skills to use in battle. Each of these skills has Mastery, and when used, they gain EXP. So, if there are any particular pet skills you like the most, make sure your pet is using that skill when fighting.
One thing to note about pets is that they use up slots, much like how your character’s skills do. This means you need to be mindful of how many slots the skills of a certain pet will take, especially if it’s a weaker one. There’s no point losing slots if the pet isn’t any good. Not all pets require the same amount of slots, with some using more than others.
Pet Modes
With your pet equipped, you can choose which ‘mode’ it’s in. There are currently three modes to choose from, each of which determines how the pet behaves.
– Passive
– As the name suggests, the pet doesn’t engage in combat at all. If it’s attacked, or if you get attacked, it remains passive
– Neutral
– The pet will only attack enemies if it is attacked or if you get attacked
– Aggressive
– The pet will attack any enemy it sees, no matter what
Stats
All pets have stats, which differ depending on the pet and its current level. The stat types are more or less the same as your own.

– HP
– Precision
