The **Primordial Rune** is a sought-after item for all Sailor Piece players. ## Sailor Piece Primordial Rune
Arguably the best Rune in Sailor Piece right now, the Primordial Rune is a must-have item when preparing for Sea 2. It offers the largest DMG boost amongst all Runes, which increases further when maxed out. At base, the Primordial Rune buffs your DMG by 75%, and at max, this increases to 120%.
### How to Get the Primordial Rune
The Primordial Rune is a potential drop from the [Infinite Tower](https://www.gamezebo.com/walkthroughs/sailor-piece-infinite-tower/) game mode. It has a very low drop rate, alongside the Radiant Rune. With each defeated enemy, there’s a chance for the Primordial Rune to drop. To enter the Infinite Tower, you need Tower Keys, which any NPC can drop upon defeat. The higher the HP of an NPC, the higher the chance of a rare item dropping, including Tower Keys.
There are infinite waves in the Infinite Tower, hence the name, but for every 5 floors, you gain a random debuff, making progress a difficult task at times. That is, until floor 50, when you gain 2 random debuffs, and after floor 100, there are 3 random debuffs.
### Why is the Primordial Rune Necessary For Sea 2?
Sea 2 is an upcoming update in Sailor Piece, and with it being a whole new map, you need to be strong enough to handle trickier enemies.
Because of this, there’s a high chance that Sea 2 will be inaccessible to players below the level cap, currently set at 13,000. If the level cap increases with the new update, the requirement for Sea 2 may change, too. But for now, I recommend reaching level 13,000 as soon as possible.
Having a strong build is key when entering Sea 2, as the enemies will be notably stronger. One of the best items to equip in terms of strength is the Primordial Rune, thanks to the DMG buffs. Of course, there are other things to keep in mind, such as accessories, your melee spec, swords, traits, cosmetics, titles, and more.
What you’re looking for is anything that will boost your DMG output. Don’t forget to improve your HP and DEF stats too, as they’re just as important.
### When is Sea 2 Coming Out?
The Sea 2 update is set to release on April 16th, bringing 4 new islands to the game. Accessing Sea 2 requires the Sea Traveller NPC and will more than likely have some unlock requirements behind it. With a bunch of new questlines and the Easter event, albeit a bit late, this new update is packed with content.
There are also new bosses to defeat, shops to browse, and sea beasts to battle against. Guilds, a notorious feature in Roblox games, are also coming to Sailor Piece in this update, including Guild Leaderboards. Keep an eye out for our guide on Guilds when the Sea 2 update drops.
