The mysterious Soul Blessings have taken the playerbase by storm. Many are wondering why the item is so popular, what it does, and how to get it.
### What Do Soul Blessings Do?
Soul Blessings are an item used to reroll your Innate Variant. If you don’t know, your Innate Variant is linked to your character’s race, whether you are a Shinigami or Hollow.
#### Variants
When you use a Soul Blessing, your Innate Variant is rerolled. If you’ve unlocked True Vastocar or True Vizard, you’ll have one of the variants.
Depending on whether or not you like your variant, Soul Blessings come in handy. The rerolling process works as usual, so you can’t choose which variant you get.
##### Shinigami (True Vizard)
– **Damage Buff**
– Your DMG increases by 10%
– **Defense Buff**
– Your DEF increases by 10%
– **Health Regeneration**
– Replenishes your HP over time, scaling off of 1.1% of your maximum HP stat
– **Reiatsu Regeneration**
– Your Reiatsu Regeneration increases by 6%
– **Speed Buff**
– You walk much faster
– Flashstep is buffed
##### Hollow (True Vastocar)
– **Hierro**
– Your DMG increases by 10%
– Your DEF increases by 15%
– **Regen**
– Replenishes your HP
– Depletes Reiatsu from enemies, granting you a percentage
– **Dodge**
– Gain an extra dodge
– Your movement speed increases
– **Proficiency**
– Your speed increases
### How to Get Soul Blessings
While there are multiple ways to get Soul Blessings, at this current time, there are two main methods since the recent update. The first is by redeeming codes, as long as they’re still active.
The second is by spending Compensation Tokens at the [Compensation Shop](https://www.gamezebo.com/walkthroughs/type-soul-compensation-shop/) in Karakura Town. One Soul Blessing costs 8 Tokens. Even if you only got Compensation Tokens for one bit of removed content, you’ll still have enough for at least a singular Soul Blessing.
The other obtainment methods include getting them as drops when playing the game.

#### Do I Need Soul Blessings?
You only need Soul Blessings if you’re unhappy with your current Innate Variant. If any of the variants listed above seem better than the one you have, then it’s worth using a Soul Blessing.
There is no guarantee you’ll get the variant you want, though, as per the rules of rerolling. If you want to increase your chances, you need to collect multiple Soul Blessings.
#### When Will New Codes Be Released?
