With two Lineage Piece Haki types to unlock, it’s tricky to know which one to unlock first. That depends entirely on how you play Lineage Piece and what you value more. One grants extra dodges, and the other buffs your DMG by 25%.
To help you with your character’s build, take a look at my Lineage Piece Races Tier List and my Lineage Piece Accessories Tier List.
Lineage Piece Haki
There are two Haki types to unlock in Lineage Piece: Observation Haki and Armament Haki.
Observation Haki
With Observation Haki, you obtain 10 additional dodges.
How to Get Observation Haki
To unlock Observation Haki, you first need to meet the requirements, which are:
- Reach level 500
- Complete the questline
- Have 2.5 million Yen
Next, there’s the questline to complete, which begins on Jungle Island.
Step 1
This is where you can find the Observation Haki NPC to start the first part of the quest.
Step 2
Defeat a total of 40 World Bosses across the entire map of Lineage Piece.
Step 3
Head back to Jungle Island to speak with the Observation Haki NPC again. After picking up the next part of the questline, you’ll have a new task to complete. You need to find 5 torches that are hidden around Jungle Island. When you light the fifth torch, you’re immediately rewarded with the Observation Haki Book. Keep in mind that this item cannot be traded with other players and is only used to unlock your Observation Haki.
Step 4
Now that you’ve got your Observation Haki Book, it’s time to revisit the Observation Haki NPC once again on Jungle Island. Give them the Observation Haki Book, as well as 2.5 million Yen. After this, you’ll unlock your Observation Haki, which you can use immediately.
Armament Haki
Upon activation, the Armament Haki increases your DMG by 25%. This Haki type, however, has a random colour when activated, which you can change with Haki Colour Rerolls. The colour you get is random, though.
How to Get Armament Haki
To unlock the Armament Haki, you need to speak with the Buso Haki NPC on Frostborn Island. This NPC asks for the Haki Book item and 1K gems, granting the Armament Haki in return. To get the Haki Book, there is a 0.1% chance of it dropping each time you defeat a mob enemy or a boss. To get the required amount of gems, you can farm boss fights, redeem codes and open chests.
Once you have the Haki Book, head back to Frostborn Island to visit the Buso Haki NPC again, and exchange the book and gems for your Armament Haki.
Haki Colour Rerolls
The Haki Colour Rerolls only work for Armament, as the colour appears when this Haki type is activated. The colour you get when you first unlock your Armament Haki is completely random, and so is the case when using Haki Colour Rerolls, too.
Haki Colour Rerolls can appear in chests that are of the Rare rarity or higher, and they have a 4% chance of dropping from any mob enemy and boss in Lineage Piece.
