They say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, but that’s not a good motto to follow when trying to find them in Unscathed. So, let me tell you where to find Apples in Unscathed in this simple player-made guide, including why you need them in the first place and what they do.
Let’s get into it.
## Where To Find Apples in Unscathed
**Apples spawn in the centre of the map on the concrete, in the area between the Quest Board, Blacksmith, and Traveller NPC.**
To collect found apples, walk over them and they’ll automatically be sent to your Items Inventory (blue sack icon from the left hotbar).

If you don’t see any apples, you’ll need to wait around a bit. They spawn randomly, with an unknown spawn time between appearances. From personal experience, I collected a single apple, then waited for what felt like 40 minutes, and then three apples spawned within a span of around 3 minutes. So, it seems the spawn rates are largely inconsistent. *(Maybe! Take what I’m saying with a grain of salt)*
### Why You Need Apples
The first time you speak to the Inkeeper NPC, he will offer you a quest, or you can totally ignore him and just browse his wares.
However, if you collect the quest, you’ll need to find 10x Apples and show them to him. Fortunately, you get to keep them for yourself after, and you’ll get quest completion rewards, which, based on apple spawn rates, is a great bargain.
For completing the quest, the Inkeeper will also give you 200x Cash and 150x EXP.
### What do Apples Do?
When eaten, apples increase your luck by 10% for 1 minute. The exact amount of bonus luck applied depends on the player’s build and their current multipliers.
*For example, if your luck is +10, the apple will give you +1 Luck, totalling +11 for 1 minute before returning to 10. At +100 Luck, you gain +10, totalling +110 Luck for 1 minute, and so on. In short, the better your build, the more you benefit from apples.*
*For this reason, I recommend stockpiling them and saving them for when you’re later game and require all the luck you can get to unveil the rarest Auras.*

## Frequently Asked Questions
### Do any weathers increase the apple spawn rate?
As far as I’m aware, no. You’ll just have to sit and wait around, which the game rewards you for if you have auto-roll enabled anyway.
### Is the quest reward worth the wait?
Not really… It’s a lot of sum, but the Inkeeper offers more quests after, and since you’ll passively collect apples anyway, you may as well accept the challenge.
### What else can you find around the map?
There are a few other temporary buffs you’ll find in the same area around the centre of the main island.
– Lucky Potion: +50% Luck for 1 minute.
– Speed Potion: +10 Roll Speed for 1 minute.
– Lucky Coin: Grants +50% Luck for the following 10 rolls.
– Coin: Instantly get 10 Cash
