Everyone knows what a Skill Tree is, I hope… But not everyone knows the most efficient way to invest in them per game you play. In my Unscathed Skill Tree Path guide, I tell you the best investment for your Skill Points, why it works, how to earn SP, and anything else you need to know about Skill Tree progression.
As Skill Trees are a long-term investment with huge payout, I encourage you to stick around to understand how this guide will give you a head start compared to every other player. Let’s get into it.
Unscathed Skill Tree Path
In order of priority:
- EXP Gain
- Generate more EXP per roll, levelling up quicker, and therefore gaining more SP quicker.
- Roll Speed
- Roll quicker, without paying Robux for the pass!
- Bonus Rolls
- Gain more rolls, increasing your odds of finding better auras sooner and streamlining the grind.
- Global Luck
- Increases base Luck rate without Equipment/Potions/Biome Multipliers. All multipliers scale from this stat, making it one of the most important to invest in.
- Elemental Luck
- Increases your odds of rolling elemental auras, good for type match-ups during PvP.
- Potion Duration
- Increases how long Potions last, making them more valuable as you get to the later game and craft stronger potions.
- Potion Potency
- Increases the effectiveness of Potions, making their buffs stronger when used.
- Money Gain
- Increases how much money you earn per aura sale, which is beneficial for shops and some upgrades as everything steadily becomes more expensive.
- Item Gain
- Increases the chance of getting an additional item when finding materials around the map.
- Crafting Materials Reduction
- Reduces the materials needed per crafting. Not as useful in the early game when crafting is cheap, but quickly becomes valuable as expensive materials and auras are required.
- Others (DMG/DEF/PvP-focused Skills)
- The DMG/DEF/PvP Skills.
Why This Works – My Experience
Using my Skill Points, I stupidly invested more into combat and defence, assuming this would help with the rapidly increasing difficulty spike, but it doesn’t. Instead, I should have buffed my playtime outside of PvP, as this is how I spend most of the game.
What works in PvP is rolling stronger Auras with better skills, elemental match-ups, and HP. The game is designed to reward discoveries, not buffing lesser Auras that quickly outlive their uses.
Note: Auras roll chance = their HP. For example: SoulBound (1 in 4,000) will have 4,000 HP in battle.
Rolling, crafting, EXP farming, etc. These core gameplay mechanics deserve priority over everything else to streamline and cut down the long wait times between decent rolls and progression through each level.
Plus, I’ll touch on this more in the next section, but generating more EXP early is so important, and I had no idea!
How To Earn Skill Points
Players gain +1 Skill Point to invest per new level.
EXP is generated on each roll, or attained through quest completion (Daily, Weekly, NPC, PvP, etc). Rolling Auras is the most stable way to consistently grind EXP.
