How To Get a Shovel in Grand Blue

Found against a wall near the incline heading into the Blacksmith at Anchor Port, the humble Rusty Shovel costs 25G. You do not need to meet any level requirements to use it.

Wade’s Questline

Once found, you can visit Wade on the Anchor Port coastline, who finds himself tormented by the Level 10 Treasure Hunters that patrol the beach. He will request your aid with the following two quests:

Finders Keepers

Type: Side Quest
Requires:
- Level 8 and a Shovel
Rewards:
- EXP: 115
- Gold: 282
- Treasure Map (Easy)
- Anchor Town Rep: 10
Repeatable: No

Stage 1: The Treasure Hunters buried Wade’s camp whilst digging up the beach. Dig around their holes and recover his belongings.

Dig up Wade’s Belongings (x5), and collect Wade’s Belongings.

Stage 2: The Treasure Hunters didn’t take kindly to you touching their sand. Drive them off Wade’s beach.

Defeat Treasure Hunter (x4).

Stage 3: Return Wade’s Belongings to him.

Talk to Wade.

The “Priceless” Haul

Type: Side Quest
Requires:
- Completing Finders Keepers
Rewards:
- EXP: 129
- Gold: 1,000
- Anchor Town Rep: 10
Repeatable: No

Stage 1: Wade is convinced the treasure hunters are digging up valuables. Collect whatever they’re carrying.

Collect Soggy Boot (x3) by defeating Treasure Hunters.

Stage 2: After speaking to Wade, head into town and take the haul to the Merchant to be appraised.

Speak to the Merchant.

Stage 3: Bind the Wedding Ring found within the Soggy Boot back to Wade.

Speak to Wade.

The Almighty Calvin Questline

Of the Treasure Maps you’ve collected so far, one will lead you to the Almighty Calvin NPC, who stands on a rock formation outside of the Blacksmith. By using the double-handed wave at him (prompted by the treasure map), he will offer you a questline.

Stage 1: Dig up the four objects Master Calvin spoke of. Follow the waypoints provided on your map and dig each area to collect the Red, Yellow, White, and Black Shells.
