Logia occupies one of the three Cursed Fruit categories. It also happens to be the rarest. The Logia gimmick, elemental prowess: having a body composed of an element and great control over it. And well, you can’t punch smoke, fire, sand, lightning… You get the point.
So, find out how to hit Logia users in Grand Blue in this guide, covering the alternatives to Haki since that hasn’t made its grand entrance into the game yet.
Let’s get into it!
How to Hit Logia Users in Grand Blue
There are two ways to land hits on Logia users in Grand Blue without the use of Haki. The first is by getting the opponent wet first, and the second is to use Seastone on your weapon of choice.
Seastone Coating
The Seastone Coating applies via RNG after a weapon upgrades to level 3. The free slot will roll for a random “Enchant”, which includes the chance at Seastone Coating.
Seastone, implied by the name, acts as a seafaring rock acting as a geological mimic of the sea itself. Consuming a Cursed Fruit means rejecting the sea. Fruit users lose the ability to swim and grow weaker when in contact with seawater.
So, the Seastone Coating allows players to deal damage to Logia Users, but also spells bad news for other Fruit user types. This includes Choppy (Buggy), who segments his body and therefore takes no damage from blades unless they have the Seastone Coating.
Wet Opponents
No skills correspond with wetting opponents. Not even the Fishman lineages have dampening skills. So, the easiest way to wet an opponent is to fight out at sea, catch them during a rain spell, or to use a water barrel.
Water barrels are the most versatile here, given they appear inland, where most Fruit users tend to stay. However, you’ll need to accurately smash them over the opponent, and then follow-up attack quicker than they can dry to execute them.
Trying to wet Fruit-wielding opponents isn’t all that efficient, so the Seastone Coating is the best method.
Logia Fruits in Grand Blue
From Fruit Chests, Grand Blue has a small yet elite list of Logia Fruits, including the rarest fruit in the game, Darkness, and the second rarest runner-up, Flame.
