Clad in royal regalia, Reginald weilds a battle axe and is the leader of the Redcliff Knights. Lore-wise, he looks down upon Cassie for abandoning her princessly duties to join your party, leading to conflicts with Reginald. Twice.
Encounters
You’ll battle Reginald as the second boss of Chapter 5, after Opiticus the Magnificent. He also teams up with Azuri and Robur in the Trinity Castle as the third major story boss of Ch5.
Finally, theres also a re-encounter during Floors 58 and 59 of The Pit of 100 Trials.
Reginald Stats and Moves
– 40 HP
– 2 Defense
– Quick Axe
– Melee move. Advances the target and takes a swing with his axe, dealing 12 DMG if it lands.
– Call for Help
– Support. Reginald summons members from the Redcliff to heed his call for aid. Calls upon either Archer, Redcliff Knight, or Bugler.
– Axe Charge
– Ranged move. Rapidly charges the player with an overhead slam from his axe. Deals 12 DMG if this move hits.
– Axe Spin
– Multi-hit move. A close-range move where Reginald plants his axe into the ground, using it to hoist himself and kick the player twice. Each hit deals 6 DMG if it lands.
– Axe Strike
– Multi-hit move. Twirls with his axe before striking the player and their party. Deals 6 DMG if this move lands.
– Hero Potion
– Support. Reginald rattles a green glass potion before consuming it, gaining Enchant: Burn (LVL 2) and Enchant: Poison (LVL 2).
During the second boss encounter (third boss fight overall), taking place inside the Trinity Castle, Reginald gains two additional moves, which he uses in unison with his party.
– Sky Chop Deluxe
– Multi-hit move. Robur leaps behind as Reginald swings, and Robur follows with two slashes. This move finishes with a final axe swing. All hits deal 6 DMG if landed. Post move, Robur gains Exhaustion for 2 turns.
– Albatross Dive
– Ranged move. Azuri climbs on Reginald, hoisting her spear before diving for a massive hit, dealing 24 HP if landed. Reginald gains Exhaustion for 2 turns post-move.
